Payment Policy

 Order your merchandise in one of three ways:
  • Log onto ht-express.com, our highly secure web-site.
  • Mail the order to Home Theater Express, 1170 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, OH 44514.
  • Fax the order to (330) 707-0433. (*Note: Faxed orders will require payment before shipment will occur.)

Home Theater Express accepts VISA, Master Card, Discover Card and American Express. We also accept checks and money orders. Checks and money orders can be sent to Home Theater Express, 1170 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, OH 44514. If paying with check or money order, your order will not be shipped until payment has been received and has cleared.

We ship only within the continental US. Most orders are shipped UPS ground from our Youngstown, OH warehouse. (We currently do not ship to Canada.) If the item is in stock, it will be shipped immediately. (Orders placed on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday will not ship until the following Business Day. Orders placed on weekdays before 12:00 Noon, Eastern Standard Time, will ship the same day, if in stock. All other orders will ship the following business day. All non-stock items, large items or orders may require additional processing time. In this case, we cannot always guarantee deliveries by a specific date. So we urge you to contact us prior to placing an order, should you need the item(s) by a specific date.) We try to indicate when products are not in stock, but occasionally stock may be depleted before your order can be processed. In this event, we will try to inform you of the back order status, estimate the shipping date and give you the chance to rescind your order.

*UPS delivery days exclude weekends and major holidays.

Estimated shipping days given over the phone or via UPS maps are from time of shipment, not time of order.

To help protect the environment, we do not offer product catalogs, and our online packing slips are paperless e-mail ONLY. Please save the online slip to your hard drive and/or print a copy if necessary.*

Shipping Policy

Any damaged shipment must be reported immediately to our customer service department at 1-800-774-0893. (Claims 30 days after delivery can not be processed.)*

Home Theater Express will work with you to correct the problem. If the item has been shipped directly from the manufacturer, we will work as an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

Also, any problems with shipping be it damage or delivery failure, must be reported immediately in order to put a claim in with the shipping company.

This means upon arrival of the product or within several days of a failed delivery. If you are concerned about a delivery or possible damage please call our service department at 1-800-774-0893. The customer is responsible for tracking the package through the UPS code, checking on their order through their HTX online account and calling customer service to alert us to a possible failed delivery. ( Claims after 30 days can not be processed.*)

To obtain a shipping cost, simply go to our site and select the items, quantity, color, add to basket then checkout. Before you enter your information, you will see a shipping calculator on the lower right side. You will not have to create an account online to see the shipping calculator. You may also call us during our business hours to get a shipping quote via phone, email or chat. Our  representatives are available by phone Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm EST.

Privacy Policy

When you shop on-line at ht-express.com, you are shopping on a highly secure site. Home Theater Express is "anti-spam" and will not use unethical promotional methods. We use "SSL" servers for our e-commerce to ensure the most secure way to shop.*

Your credit card number is only sent via secure encrypted connections, and we do not store customer data where it can be accessed via the Internet. Also, your customer data is considered private and will not be sold or shared with any outside interests.*

Returns Policy

Home Theater Express will grant full refunds (excluding shipping and handling) for products returned within 30 days after the purchase date. The product must be unopened and in perfect condition. You (the consumer) are responsible for return shipping and handling costs.

If the product has been opened and/or used, a 15-25% restocking fee will apply. The percentage charged is dependent upon the product and the condition. If an item is returned or exchanged, you (the consumer) are responsible for the return shipping and handling charges.

Also, in rare cases some items are drop-shipped from the manufacturer and may incur a restock fee for returns. We strongly recommend the consumer contact us prior to ordering for any subsequent restock fees for returns of new and or unused concession equipment.

Once a product has been assembled or installed, absolutely no refunds or exchanges are permitted (if a product is defective, see "Product Warranties").

Custom-designed orders (i.e. lighted marquees) cannot be returned.

NO RETURNS on SEASONINGS , POPCORN or any other FOOD / PERISHABLES:
Perishables are non-refundable. Due to Health Standards no food or any other perishables will be accepted as a return or exchange. Any perishables returned to Home Theater Express will be discarded immediately upon delivery and no refunds will be given.

Also any used food-related products (i.e. popcorn poppers, butter dispensers) are non-refundable.*

Product Warranties

Most of the items available on our web site are covered under a manufacturer's warranty. If you have questions regarding the warranty associated with any product, please check the product descriptions or call our customer service department at 1-800-774-0893.

If you have questions about the warranty for any product purchased from Home Theater Express, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-774-0893. If any product sold by Home Theater Express fails within the warranty period, you can contact the manufacturer directly. Home Theater Express will act as an intermediary between you and the manufacturer's warranty center if you would prefer.

Ultimately, the warranty is between you and the manufacturer. If the product fails after the warranty period is over, we'll direct you to the manufacturer for help.*

If there are any defects with the product you have ordered from Home Theater Express, please contact us immediately. Claims after 30 days from purchase can not be processed unless they fall under the manufacturers warranty, in which case the manufacturer will need to be contacted. Home Theater Express will work with you to correct the problem, and/or we will work as an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

Large Orders

Home Theater Express is happy to work with our customers to fill large orders.
However, due to the large demand on certain items, in stock quantities and/or manufacturer delays large orders of one product may take 2 weeks or more to process. What is a large order? 5 or more requests for one product is classified as a large order, however, an estimate can be requested for any size order.

Please plan ahead and request a large order at a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.
If items are in stock they will be shipped or set aside (at the time of payment). If the items are not in stock an order to the manufacturer can be placed and an estimate for shipping can be given to you once we have all your (shipping/address/quantity requested) information.

If you would like to Approve a Large Order Estimate and continue with your order you may call us directly at 1-800-774-0893. Please have estimate available for reference and let the representative know you are approving a current estimate.

Purchase Orders

Home Theater Express will accept purchase orders from educational institutions (schools). Exceptions will be made to certain businesses on a case by case basis. The order needs to be placed online, fax, or email. Once a purchase order is received by us, we will create an invoice and include it with the order - a copy of the invoice will also be mailed out. Payments are due within 30 days of receiving an order. If you place an order online, you will see the option for paying by purchase order. Simply enter your PO# here and select PAY BY PURCHASE ORDER. Please note: You will need to fax or email us a copy of your purchase order for our records. Also, please enter your billing and shipping address and the name/phone and email address of your accounts payable contact.
